About Lone Tree Colorado

The Denver suburbs may be home to many larger towns and cities, but Lone Tree is definitely not one of them. As of the 2010 census, the city population was clocked at under 11,000 residents. As of 2014 the community had grown, but not by much. Today it’s believed that roughly 15,000 people call this part of Colorado home.

If you’re trying to find it on a map, Lone Tree is located on the northern border of Douglas County, while also sitting adjacent to Arapahoe County. The community is in what’s technically referred to the South metro area of the city of Denver as it’s located roughly 18 miles south of the downtown area of the Mile High City.

Despite the city’s small size, there are a number of food and entertainment options that are available to those who live, work and play in Lone Tree, CO.
There are a number of outdoor and indoor entertainment and/or sport activities, and since it’s close to the foothills of Colorado, it’s a short drive to some of the best outdoor hiking trails found in the state.

Lone Tree’s restaurants include places such as The White Chocolate Grill, BRIO Tuscan Grille, Red Robin, PF Chang’s and more. If you’re in the mood for something a bit more casual, you’ll be happy to know that you’ll be able to find eateries such as 5 Guys Burgers and Fries, Chipotle and Noodles and Company within the city’s limits.
